Officially on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 The Burned was born into the world. My album is an Aquarius! We had a beautiful "home birth" here in Austin celebrating with close friends and family. All were gathered to give love and energy and send this child off into the world to work his magic!! Plus we got to have an awesome party!!
So the album is now out. Of course I know nothing will change overnight in my life, just because my album has been released. There is a lot of time and energy and work yet to be done to nurture this being as it grows. However, whats key and important about the actual release date is that it marks a new beginning and is a powerful suggestion to the universe that a cycle is complete and the next succession of steps on the path are ready to become visible. And now here we are on that path, beginning our first strides in that new direction. Lets see what unfolds and where this road leads. Imagination is the only map in the great unknown so the world truly belongs to us. I wish you all well along the way and may the road under our feet always lead to good people and beautiful places. 'make believe' is beautiful song, I love it
ReplyDeleteWell it's almost been a year since the album was released and I have to say I think you will be doing well. A lot of people wanted to know the name of the song and who sang it at the end of Chase. So I finaly found you and I have posted it on the Chase website and all over facebook:) I bought your album to night on itunes and I truly love evry song:) You are a great singer and song writer that will touch many. Good luck with everything the future holds for you.
